Carrie Seay: President
Owner of Carrie Pawpins | Pet Nanny, CBCC-KA, MS-CABAC, Nutrition Counselor, Fear Free Certified Professional, Staff Education Consultant.
Carrie grew up in Scottsdale, AZ where she currently lives with her dog and two cats. She has worked with animals all her life in many different settings. She began at a young age with volunteering and fostering stray and feral cats and kittens. At the beginning of her career, she worked her way up from a kennel attendant position at a veterinary clinic to a veterinary technician and receptionist. She also has experience in other animal related jobs including working at a dog day care, a pet store, and even at a veterinary distribution company. She worked as a veterinary technician for more than five years before moving on to start her own business. Carrie has her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and her Masters’ Degree in Companion Animal Behavior Analysis and Counseling. She recently passed the CBCC-KA certification test and is now a Certified Behavior Consultant-Canine. Carrie is comfortable working with cats and dogs with any special needs, medical issues, or behavior problems. She continues to learn more about animal behavior and pet care as it is an ever changing and growing field. She feels that pets are a part of the family and strives to help the bond grow between pet owners, pet professionals, and the animals.
Kristine Barto: Vice President
Owner of PerPETual Love Pet Sitting
Kristine has had an adoration for animals from a young age, and has been blessed to turn her passion into a career. Growing up in a small rural town of West Michigan, most of her free time was spent on her family’s ranch with their many cats, dogs, horses, and even pigs and chickens. Kristine graduated from Michigan State University with a business degree, and moved to Arizona in 2012. After many years of pet sitting for family and friends, transitioning to full time to connect with her entire community was an easy decision. She currently is also a volunteer and foster parent at an amazing organization, Home Fur Good. She has enjoyed raising bottle-fed orphaned kittens, as young as 1 week old. The mission of this no kill dog/cat shelter is to reduce the euthanasia rates in the Phoenix area, and Kristine adores being a part of the adoption process for these deserving animals! Syx (16 years old) and Sevyn (8 years old) are Kristine’s two bengal furbabies. They both traveled with her from Michigan, and love the Arizona sunshine! They are very sweet boys and the best of friends. Syx is on daily medication and a special limited ingredient diet to help with his aging digestive system, but he is as sprite as ever! Her two most recent additions were foster babies that decided they wanted to stay forever! Born April 2017, Meatball Mozzarella and Lola are brother and sister, and each others favorite partner in crime. They are so funny and into everything! Kristine’s beloved angel Maeko, who passed in 2009 at age 15, lived with diabetes for many years requiring 2 insulin shots per day. Kristine understands the love and lengths pet parents will go to for the care of their pets, and can relate to requiring the most reliable, dependable, loving, and trustworthy care for your pets in your absence. Her priority is to provide you with that peace of mind.
